Yes, but was it a decision that:
A) they planned the whole time (acting fraudulently to keep enrollment high)
B) came to be due to circumstances (they expected to have no cases, but then made the decision for health reasons.)
If they knew they were going to cancel classes ASAP but mislead students, there would have to be some legal recourse there for students.
FWIW, I’m all for the online courses and safety. It’s just interesting how quickly many schools are shutting down after adamantly pushing forward. If they truly gave it a shot, great. If they mislead students, there should be an opt out of sorts...
I’d be in community college this year if I was still in school. No chance I’m paying 40k for online courses.
