Shelby did not look good. I would have thought she could break 4 solo but she struggled to a 4:05.
Rowbury wins easily in 4:03, then comes back and rabbits the 3k thru 2400m looking like she could have continued on to a sub-9.
Mel Lawrence won in 9:04.
Shannon is in really, really good shape -- would love to see her in a 5k next month, even if it means going to Europe to race.
Did anyone see the full 800m results for men and women?

She's not running the German Championships, first European race will be Monaco.

Zero chance Shannon is traveling to Europe this year, come on
Suguru wins in 7:54.49 with a 2:03 last 800 and 28.5 last 200.
Improves from 7:59 at the first BF meet 3 weeks ago, so getting his track legs back.
Hope Derrick can do the same, tonight or next Friday in BTC's last intrasquad meet.
American record in men's 4x1500m 14:34.97. Old record 14:40.
First splits in BTC's mixed 4x800 are 2:00 - 2:02 -- don't know who runners were but they must have been all Babes, not Bros . . . by comparison, Price won tonight's BF3 meet in 2:01.
Ahh, may have typed too soon . . . will have to watch he replay video this weekend to find out who's running what . . .

It was the guys running a tactical race. Shelby just ran down Chris Derrick with a sub-2 though.

That was great. 1:59 or maybe 2:00 for Shelby (I timed Derrick at 2:00.6). The splits on Athletic Timing can’t be right—they have them both running 1:55s.
Ha . . . earlier in this thread there was speculation about what would happen if CD found himself against Shelby . . . so it happened . . .
The Tracklandia meet was pretty sad. Between the feed cutting out during the men’s 800, no sound during the post race interviews and ridiculously bad commentary they should be embarrassed.
Never would in all my years watching this sport would I ever write that I wished FlotRack was doing the Big Friendly 3...but that guy announcing was freaking horrible. How the hell do you not know that Kerr and Brazier ran the fastest time in the world? I'm guessing that Portland Track handed him the microphone, and said "knock yourself out"
