Your pan isn't hot enough yet if your eggs make a mess and stick to the bottom and especially the sides.
Turn pan on and leave it on for a minute or so before putting eggs in. If eggs go into pan before the pan is up to temp, they will adhere to the pan and make a mess.
....After getting pan to high temp and putting eggs in, then reduce heat as to not overcook the eggs or cook them too quickly.
Also, butter is best for eggs taste wise and has less splatter from the pan compared to oils.
Ah, great points. If you have an electric range, it can take a couple of minutes for the element to heat up enough to heat the pan enough to cook eggs without sticking.

No. Because I never just randomly stop eating meat and eggs. What made you decide to do so?
Tonight I had a big bowl of oatmeal with half a jar of peanut butter (seriously) but I feel like I need to run to the grocery store to get a steak or something ...
That's not a meal, that's depression.
Eat more quinoa

You need to use butter in the frying pan to make them release completely cleanly. Also buy a barbecue for meat.
Barbecue is meat (pulled pork, brisket, etc). Why would one "buy a barbecue for meat?"

Hahaha! The Swedish cook......... Well , it`s difficult to be a vegetarian and get full engine power.
Just eat meat and eggs. By the way is very good food that they didn`t know when I was young. They thought it was too much colestherol.
Don't Masai tribe members like David Rudisha eat 2000mg of cholestoral per day while the American Heart Association recommends max 300mg?

Do you really think the Masai weigh their daily cholesterol (it's not that hard to spell) intake?
Stop worrying about details and stop eating crap.
Eat healthy, varied food, from different sources.
If you are weak without meat and eggs then your diet is deficient.
For me it's not the negative feeling you experienced, but rather the positive feeling I have whenever I have beef. If I eat a steak or I cook up some nice ground beef with onions and rice, then the next day I always feel phenomenal. Easy pace is somehow faster, MP feels like a joke, recovery is a breeze, etc, etc.
Beef is a super food as far as I'm concerned. I don't have it every day, but it's definitely a staple of my diet.

Haven't eaten meat or eggs for a few days. Strength is gone. Body goes into withdrawl feeling and craves a juicy burger. Anyone experience this?
I thought you quit running, like a dozen times? What's up with that?
sunflower seeds and almonds
It seems you should eat meat and eggs.
You know, like everyone did before the started making fake food, then some loudmouths turned to diets that are appropriate if you're a bird.
Scraping eggs off the side of the pan is a big deal to you? How about you learn how to cook and stop burning your eggs? Meat does not make a big mess man. I didn't look through but if he hasn't already Malmo is going to look at this and yet again point out why you have stagnated in your training. If you can't be bothered to clean up after cooking up a chicken breast or some eggs in the morning then how can you be expected to double every day and run big mileage?
it's possible you're anemic and need the b vitamins and amino acids for red blood cell production - but even if you go back to eating meat and eggs you should only do so once a week or twice a week

The meat you eat needs to be a variety. Chicken breast, ground beef (lean is better and drain the fat), steaks and fish too. Always drain the fat from the meat you cook.
Eat nuts as I said about sunflower seeds and almonds.
Eggs are ok but they can be a fast track to a heart attack.
2/week. Maybe 3 or 4 every few weeks. I would not eat eggs as a daily, regular part of my diet.
No spouse/significant other
No children
No pets
No visible outside interests or volunteer commitments
Jamin - for a guy that has a job that he can do from home and that only trains once a day, you certainly seem to have an awfully "complicated" existence full of woe and first world problems.

Garbage advice from an uninformed poster. Chicken is generally a toxic meat due to excess linoleic acid (unless pastured, which is rare), but eggs are excellent in every respect, again preferably pastured. I eat at least 4-5 eggs/day at 64 and have perfect heart health (CAC = 0, excellent trig/hdl ratio)
The ft from met is a gold mine of healthy energy and fat-soluble vitamins. Draining fat is throwing out the one of the most valuable macronutrients you can find.
Nuts are thoroughly toxic and addictive, in addition to being an environmental nightmare as agriculture.
Just do the opposite of this guy's advice for a healthy and long athletic career.
I hit up Five Guys tonight. Should I take supplements on top of that?

It was good advice. If your egg consumption works for you, that's great. People have different genetics and I've found I don't like to eat a lot of eggs. It sounds like your attitude is garbage and you aren't informed about the nutrition of nuts.
What I recommend for you is to write a book about the danger of nuts. They are toxic, addictive. They may very well cause cancer and premature aging. And who knows what else?
You should definitely write about it. You sound like you want to get it off your chest.

To have perfect heart health, you would need to have low LDL, and 4-5 eggs per day is going to give you high LDL.
