Welcome, who do think wins: in Poland Cheptegei, Kibiwott Kandie, or Jacob Kiplimo?

https://www.worldathletics.org/competitions/world-athletics-half-marathon-championships/news/kenya-team-world-half-marathon-championshipsThis was the March announcement pf the Kenyan team when it was four weeks out before being postponed. Also announced back then were South African, Japanese, and British teams .We know Kamworor is out of the running now. Add to them Cheptegei from Uganda and i have a profile thread to write, adding Ethiopians and others when they decide who represents.
Poland has been quite successful in containing COVID so here's hoping it still goes ahead.
Ethiopian team is the one worth waiting for. Who do you think may represent them?
Jemal Yimer?
Andamlak Belihu?
Seifa Tura?
They are the only ones ranked among the top 27 road runners.
Ran a trial over 15k and a relative unknown won.

Depending on which ladies represent Ethiopia, i think Brillian Jepkorir may win the women's event. Fifth last Sept in Copenhagen in 67.12 then second in Houston this year in 68.08.
Yehualaw beats n.gudeta, y.zimer, and the WR holder

Women’s field is filling out. Just Bahrain to come. Do you think second, third, and fourth in these Ethiopian trials were happy to let the other girl win, knowing they had done enough to go to Poland?

Lily Partridge or Sarah Inglis the best of the Brits.
Lily’s best of 70.32 is five years old now
Changes to the GB team: Callum Hawkins and Charlotte Purdue lead the team.

Just looking at the 15 sub 60 men, only 4 named in this article.
Three other Kenyans [Kibiwott Kandie named], four Ethiopians, who else?
Up to three Eritreans: Aron Kifle, Nguse Amlosom, and Abrar Osman.
Gabriel Geay of Tanzania, Moen, and Obzilen.

Joshua Cheptegei is my pick to win from the names we have
If Cheptegei completes the event, it will be his first time past ten miles. Held the 10k WR for a month last December.
Whether or not he gets another track WR tomorrow and with a lot of changes since March, it's still Cheptegei.
Cheptegei, Kandie, Kiplimo to round the podium. Crazy field, i expect the Ethiopians to surprise and usually Cheroben comes good in such big races. Anything under 1h is fast on this course, sub 59 is wr zone

Following is my profile from Houston:
Fifth woman should be Brillian Jepkorir, 24yo and ranked 28. Last Sept was fifth in Copenhagen in her PB of 67.12 then the next month won a half in Boston in 67.40. Was only 9th there in Boston the previous year in 76.00. There is a big gap in her recorded results between 2012 and 2017.
Further down the list now with an influx of recent greats at this distance.

Hard to go past the WR holder, but i guess 65 low is as quick as they go on this course?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
