(I was slow in college, I know)
I have not run much in the last 12 months but have stayed fit and haven't put any weight on due to playing other sports and being generally activie. I am running a road 5k in 3 months and want to win and get the prize, and send home all the hobby joggers, like me, DEVASTATED. Usually the winning time is around 16:40-17:00. Can I come back and get that time or is it unrealistic. This is my second week back. First week I ran 22 miles around 7 - 7:30 pace, making sure none of the runs felt to hard. Thoughts?
