It appears that there is a growing groundswell of opinion that favours scrapping the words “July” and “August” because they were named after - and are in honour of - Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar, both of whom sponsored an Empire wide slave trade, and were responsible for mass genocides of ethnic people.
I believe the US Government are taking the lead in seeking replacement names via a popular vote.

Don't be stupid. Getting rid of July and August could create a new ice age. You can't just scrap the two hottest months of the year That's playing around with nature.
A better idea would be to scrap nigjttime, because its completely racist that we all sleep at night when it's black outside. What kind of message does that send out to black kids? Better to have 24 hour daytime.
