Give Cheruiyot about 4:55 for that with the 8 second conversion.

I think Elijah is over the hill.
I doubt very much he will qualify for the Kenyan Olympic team.
How can he be so far away from his former level after just 2 month´s break?
Two months is a long ass time not to be running
Just 26 rounds to go for Nordstad Moen

And ER was quite "weak".
3'50"00 is worth 3'30"00 (1245points hugarian table) . Which is already very strong but still a bit weak for a ER.
Jakob can probably do 3'47 in the next years.
so you're saying he ran the equivalent of a 3:30.0 1500m in a TT in an empty stadium with his brothers and you aren't impressed?
Haha, now they will say as he ran 3:30 last year it proves (again!) that he has peaked!
43:06 through 15k so 1:11:50 pace
Best female skier in the world, Therese Johaug runs so ugly (at the same time as Nordstad Moen is running his 25 ) , but ugly can work, she tries to run under 31 minutes in the 10 k.
*32
Cheruiyot's lean is so ugly. Can't believe he doesn't have back/hip/hammy issues with that form.
I agree he is still the favorite for Tokyo (if it even happens). If he really did take that long off at the beginning of COVID he could be well under 4:50 in a few months, better conditions, etc. I expect he will PR if so. Looked rough out there today in Nairobi.
No, aiming for 31.40.

Should have said I expect he'll PR "in the 1500" if it's true (that they took that long off and he's only been running again for a month).

I made that the fastest 2000m since 2001.
Fastest 2000m time since the full throttle EPO era!
Probably the only professional 2000m since the full throttle EPO era.

She's a convicted doper also. The Norwegians are downplaying it so much it makes me sick. To them she never did anything wrong - you know usually dopers are not invited to Bislett (like gatlin for example), but for Johaug they make an exception.
That was a pretty fun meet. Maybe we'll see more like it moving forward. It was basically a chance to go for national records that aren't run that often. Why not have a few meets in the US like this? Our pros tend to live in the same few cities.
Good run for Filip in the 1k & then to double back with the 3k. The men's/women's 200 & 300 hurdles were a good time.
The 2k wasn't that well set-up. You hear chatter of Team Kenya wanting to break 4:50 & then realize it's raining & they're at 5000 ft. That felt sort of silly when you knew they weren't playing the same game.
Jakob is really, really good. Seems like the big negative splits work well for him. He closed in 54. I want to see him go out and attack a race El G style. He went through 800 in 1:55 & 1600 in 3:49 when he ran 4:44.
Any Moen splits?

60 min at around 20.7 km according to my stream.
Cut the lies. She got UNKNOWINGLY a substans from a lip balsam (had lip wound because of the cold). The norwegian doctors mistake who gave it to her (and had to resign).
And the amount would never have given her any advantage.
That is something COMPLETELY different than dopers that cheat for years with EPO and stuff.
These lights are absolute game changers. I think we’ll see some fast solo efforts in the next diamond league of they to allow them .

I want to see them because DL pacers are usually terrible
Has Coe ever commented on these?
