I strained my right Peroneus Longus (and maybe brevis) muscle last week because I overstretched it during an early run when I bent down to tie my shoes and then kept of running afterwards even though it felt tight. I can barely find any medical info on how to treat this because all that comes up on my searches is peroneal tendonitis injuries, which is not what I have. Does anyone have experience or advice for handling this asap? I'm in such great fitness right now and was supposed to start summer training this week.
