I had toe surgery recently. Ran for two months after doctor cleared me and my Achilles flared up.
I took a week of almost no running. Now my heel is noticeable when I run more than than two miles. I don’t believe it’s affecting my gait. But it still doesn’t feel perfect. Should I just take off completely now?
In this past I stopped running for seven months for this problem. It only healed when I began running very carefully. I’m doing my calf rolling, heel drops, glute / core stengehting, and icing.
Particularly, I would like to know what kind of sensation is ok to run through.
