As we were recording the podcast this morning, I almost brought up Efraimson as a topic as I realized earlier this week she didn't run indoors at all. Anyone know what was up with her? Good to see her healthy now.

how about we try these time trials without pacers. maybe people of your own gender just like a real race.
Now every race in the world demands a pacesetter or two. Just take EPO that will help you plenty in getting your desired time.

Jesus Christ, you are digging so deep for things to complain about. The goal of a time trial is to run as fast as possible in order to get an accurate gauge of your fitness. Why would you run it solo if you don't have to? How does that make any sense?

Plus, say she gets in a race with Houlihan, Purrier, etc. who are faster than her - then it's exactly the same as having a pacer.
Stopped her watch about a meter short of the finish. LOL.

not really- hard to say exactly when she stopped it. But the act of stopping it slows you down, so I don't think it makes a difference worth noting.

A-waah! A-waah! A-WAAAAAAH!
Poor baby, I hope you don't suffer a cardiac arrest at the age of 14 months.
Not everyone can handle the length like you can.

Go back to watching porn, nerd.
hey rojo, do you only post under your own user name?
If not, do you think it is fair to ban posters for incorrectly guessing a poster is you?
I was banned for merely posting : 'hi Rojo!' in response to a post.
If you don't want people speculating if it's you or not , then just publically commit to posting only under your official handle. Otherwise, quit banning people for merely implying that a poster might be you.
Yes, I post under different handles but I also don't ban people for guessing my handle wrong.

That wouldn't be exactly like having a pacer. If you think that Houlihan, Purrier, etc. are always trying to hit perfectly even splits that would help Efraimson, in all of their races, maybe you'd have an argument.
Very solid performance. Equal to a 4:08 1500m. A solid time for her, so she's clearly in shape. Hopefully a good sign going forward.
She ran the parkrun in Portland back in December. It was really cool seeing a pro out there. Makes sense now she ran a local 5K if she wasn't doing indoors this year.
That was an evenly paced effort. When I ran a 4:08 1500m in college I tucked in behind the fast group but faded the last 300m. 63/ 2:08/ 3:15

Nope, more like 4:10 1500m. She ran 1600m, not a mile which is 1609 meters. Why she chose to run that distance is beyond me.
How long does she keep her Nike contract after not improving since she was in high school? I know personally I would be very frustrated if my best days were when I was 17... On the other hand I would be fairly happy to be receiving Nike money while staying stagnant for years.

she did alright last year mate
It shows the razor thin margin at the national level and international level in the middle distances. In the meets that matter, with rounds and tactics and feel and covering moves and the right time within a split second , you can have this talent but it will get you nowhere unless you’ve developed the other factors. Or can make up for some missing with a massive kick.

I completely agree. I have never run a race of that distance (nor 3200 either). Why anyone would is beyond me, but there are daily threads about racing, training for, bragging about, etc, etc, the non-standard 1600m non-event.
