Levet is kinda wack. Spencer (TAS) is kinda the best. Seth DeMoor is really good too. Sage is okay. Emma is cool but doesnt really run anymore. Any other serious ones im leaving out?
The quality in TAS really declined in the year since this thread was made. I used to enjoy watching his videos, but they’re nowhere near as good now.
Charles Hicks
Sprints informative content - Essop Merrick and Cody Bidlow
Distance and track in general - Symmonds, Cicirunner
Current pro athletes who have put out content - Molly Seidel, Noah Lyles, and Paul Chelimo
Ben Barrows. RunnersConnect. Sandi Nypaver, though her channel is turning into more a "week in the life." But her informational/coaching content is top notch. The NAZElite channel has been doing a pretty good weekly series on marathon training, and generally I like their videos. For shoe and gear reviews, The Run Testers out of England is good, specifically Nick's reviews. No BS filler content, just solid, honest opinions. I know The Running Channel is trying to be the GCN on running, but they focus so much on beginning/entertainment content that there's just not too much there. I enjoy watch SweatElite's workout videos...nothing fancy, just a discussion about the workout and video from each interval.
The Vlog, shoe/gear review guys actually makes more sense to me.
I am not against educational video, but there is limited stuff to be educated about running. These type of youtuber all seems to become more and more clickbaity as they run out of content.
Eg. I like James Dunne at first. But he seems to be talking about drills/form/little tricks endlessly, as if these are the center of performance/injury prevention. Not trying to be a bodyshaming a##hole, but look at this guy weighing over 250lbs. Does he look like a guy who is serious about running? If you have poor weight management and little mileage, those drills and little tricks wont do s##t.
