misperception, eh? Fast high schoolers do run near the world leading times. Elzie Coleman ran 45 in high school. J-mee Samuels is in the low 10's!! Xavier Carter ran sub 46 as well his senior year. The fastest time in the world this year (at least in the U.S.) was Wariner who barely got under 44. Wow, 1.5 seconds. Do you know what the fastest time in the world in the 1500 was this year? At least 3:30. Now, what was the fastest high schooler 1500? Wasn't it high 3:40's by Matusak? That's really close. Thanks for explaining that common "misperception" (nice word by the way; really backs up how you were pretending to be intelligent).
