Not so easy as the map might suggest. Lots of spectators downtown. Also a steady stream of runners in the 3:10-3:25 range so a lot of eyes to have to avoid. And, lots of mats not close to each other he'd have to be sure to cross, and getting to them dishonestly would not be all that easy. He could try to cheat it, but would almost surely get caught given his reputation and the scrutiny he'd get. Lots of race pictures too. I'd guess there would be more than adequate photography and video to help prove anything that needs to be proven. There is probably lower-hanging fruit out there for him to try.

Well I guess that means you have no real friends. If you had any real friends, who honestly believed in you, they would be willing to post on Facebook, Twitter, or some other verifiable social media outlet on your behalf, heck perhaps write something in the comments section of Patch or do an interview. As of right now, that has not happened. In fact, since the Patch article, people who know you have come out and confirmed what many believe about you and your demeanor. In fact, no one has stepped up and defended you except a bunch of made up names here and perhaps Twitter, although I can't remember any, many of which are likely you. By the way, how is Lydia doing? Please give "her" our regards. Besides an occasional "Like" on Twitter, which is likely you doing the "liking", you get none and certainly no retweets. So tell us, who are your real friends and where are they? Are they the ones snickering and laughing behind your back here, on Facebook (especially after the Patch article), at school functions, in the neighborhood or club, etc.?

In addition, what has been asserted about you are not rumors. You did cheat and you have been caught in numerous lies. Of course, if you had real friends as you profess, then as a real friend to them, you should not liet to them about the things you did or did not do. Do you tell them about the nasty things you say about people's children, the threats you make, the lies about pictures being given to you? People who are "yes" friends, that is, those who do not question you but just agree are not true friends. True friends will challenge you (perhaps these friends have the same inability to think critically and analyze facts, like yourself), and in spite of your weaknesses and faults, will stand by you after you are truthful because they believe in you.

So, what rumors are you referring to because as far as I can tell, there are no rumor regarding your running, cheating and lying.

Here's one that I think fits the bill. It's flat , relatively small and new. There are quite a few spots to jump around. The fact that there was less than 500 marathoners and its towards the end of his window to complete it should be perfect. It's also relatively local which he seems to prefer.

An RD would do well to employ a shadow runner if Rossi is running their race. Busting him would bring tremendous publicity to them.

For a race to be Rossi-fied, it must have a finisher's medal! The bigger, the better.

As obsessed with that cruise as he is, I'm very surprised he's never run Disney. A medal with Mickey Mouse ears, and Mike doesn't have one. Shocking.

Mountain Run for the Red Marathon

I have run that one twice. Yes, it would be easy to Rossi that course. It is heavily wooded and spectators are nearly nonexistent. The last time I ran it, there was one intermediate chip mat with a camera, but he could just drive to that one, hop out of his car, run across it, and get back in his car, probably with no one seeing him. Also, the field is small enough that people tend to get very spread out very quickly.

However, RD Bob (if he's still RD) takes his race very seriously. I really doubt he'd put up with any cheating.

Yes - it is very VIA-like. Run first 3.5, hop in car, I-380/I-80, quick lap of Stroudsburg high school track, BQ done.

There is the half chip mat to deal with though, but he can drive to that too. Also, I guess as the event gains popularity, it will be a little crowded in the 3:10 range and maybe a little more difficult not to be seen.

He can't claim the money anyways unless he notifies the brojos beforehand of his attempt.

He may decide to cheat and "run" close to 3:11 at some obscure race, hundreds of miles from his hometown and without giving prior notice, to prove all of us "trolls" wrong, but who does he really think he'll be fooling?

I was worried about Rossi winning the P.R. battle by running or cheating his way to a sub-20 5k when the brojos issued their challenge to him, but now, due to his Turkey Trot misadventures and the resulting media coverage, there is no hope for him to ever come out on top - even if he somehow manages to train his way to a legit sub-3:25.

It would be best for him to just admit to defeat, but I won't hold my breath. I'd say that it would surprise me if we see him line up for a marathon any time soon, but nothing that Mike Rossi does really surprises me anymore

Not running with him, as that would spook him too much, but a nice comfortable 20-40 yards back ... just close enough to keep an eye on him

Also, don't collar him as soon as he cuts the course ... let him finish & get his 3:11, and Tweet and gloat before the big reveal
