Lemma has nothing to lose! After all he is an old man with graying hair! He is just trying to get the most out of himself, maybe just one more time before he retires.
That Said, Boston is a monster course. I see Lemma ending up a Dnf just like Daniel Nascimento in New York two years ago.
I can't believe the broadcast. Lemma is making a HUGE move to drop the men's field and all the broadcast is showing is Hannah Storm at the finish and a Meb retrospective. Why have the rights if you are not willing to tell the story of the race?

You’re telling me that a 2:01 runner forging ahead on 2:00 pace past 10k doesn’t matter to the story of the race? He may crumble and/or DNF but it’s super impactful regardless.
I like the Wheelchair annoucer as she's knowledgeable but it drive me nuts that the just talked about Huig running the course in 1:15. He didn't run a single step. Why don't they say "wheeled"? Language must mean something.
