Mike Rossi, by himself, edited the wikipedia entry from his home IP from his house just as he used the same IP address to send the e-mail to Abingtonrunner.

Mike Rossi is no IT genius and neither are you, Ken. You guys can't even tell the difference between HTTP, SSH, port forwarding, SSL tunneling or OpenVPN vs. L2TP. This is why you all suck at the interwebz. Even Ross Ulbricht made mistakes and he was way smarter than You, Mike and all of the LR trolls combined.

Rossi actually never gets another chance to be photographed because he runs past the left shoulder of the photographer . Looking at photos of runners does not tell you a position of a cameraman , stationary objects tell you camera position . Thats only one reason tho why the committee can't reverse their decision . They know that's Rossi .

But here is the second issue , that waiver that was posted specifically states no headphones are allowed to be worn , and there are at least 32- 40 runners in headphones . I know you are all going to say what's that got to do with it . I'm going to tell you what it does . Your argument is the waiver states the RD can use their own discretion to DQ a runner for any reason , ok so be it , but they can't retain credibility if they DQ him for not having a photo on the course . Nowhere in the waiver or anyplace else does it say photos are used to verify a runners time . And you can scream to the high heavens about how a photo proves he ran it , but according to the waiver or rules , it does not state that , therefore he did not break a rule ....BUT , and here it comes , it clearly states headphones are not allowed , a clear violation of the rules. They can't DQ Rossi for a rule that doesn't exist , and not DQ those that clearly violated a rule .

Now let me address all of your lawsuit arguments . If I'm Rossi , and I get DQ'd for no photos , and runners with headphones aren't DQ'd then I don't even sue for non photo disqualification , I sue for discriminatory reasons . If I'm Rossi and his lawyer , I don't go into a courtroom claiming I ran the race , I go into a courtroom suing for being discriminated against , because I can show many many runners with headphones , a guy with a dog , not being DQ'd for waiver violations and me being DQ'd for something that isn't a violation on the waiver . And if you can't understand that , then there is no other way I can help you .

Who here can tell me what runner got left out of Boston because of Rossi ? In 600+ pages I still haven't seen or heard from anyone claiming they were robbed . Who ? Who got robbed ? What runner from what Boston Qualifier got robbed ? Nobody has made a claim . If we take into account the runners with headphones , then there can be an argument that 30+ others were robbed too , because for certain by the rules they should be DQ'd , so who are the other 30+ runners that should have been moved up into a Boston corral that nobody here is speaking for . You all come off as upholding the integrity of the sport and say Rossi cheated and held somebody back from getting into Boston , but when it comes to the other 30+ runners in headphones you all turn and look the other way . You are all hypocrites .This is why they can't reverse their decision

And before any of you comment that I made a long post , GregTR and others post just as long , but you don't mind them because they speak against Rossi .

This is not the only incident in which this has happened, and I feel that if left unchecked, the individual will progressively reveal more personal information and invite harassment. Ironically, this is the type of reckless online behavior for which Mike Rossi has become infamous.

Everybody loves this site because - for better or for worse - "while we moderate the forums, one unique feature that encourages the free flow of information is if you want to be anonymous on our forums you can be." However, I feel that this poster is becoming more and more reckless with the personal information of a private person and may eventually cause harassment beyond the forums and into real life.

I cannot be 100% sure of the identity of the poster "LMR". That said, there is a good possibility that that he has also posted under the name "LoserMikeRossi" - who has identified himself as Kenneth Stillman: "Looks like I have to abandon my registered user name [LoserMikerossi] since it's being used with a lower case L in place of the i. New name is LMR. I will not be posting using the old name anymore. Anything posted under that name is not me." Posted 7/28/2015 2:47PM. If these posters are not the same, then I apologize to Mr. Stillman, but still stand by my words with respect to "LMR".

I hope that you will consider my request to review and ban this poster in order to ensure the personal security of family members is not threatened, and request that I remain anonymous as I have a family of my own and do not want to invite harassment against them. I am also posting this on the thread so as to invite feedback from others and "LMR" himself.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The poster defended himself in another post and say he was not revealing anything that was private. I understand his point but please do not post about Mike Rossi's family at all on this thread. They have nothing to do with this. There is no reason to post anything about Mike personally.

Also, is there any reason to keep this thread going? We could close it or make it so only registered users post. Please email me about this @

He did in fact publish intimate knowledge of Mike's wife.

With respect to "LMR" defending himself, I am not sure of which post you are referring to, but I do understand that he may have been trying to say the source of the wiki edit was Mike.

The part that bothered me was that he mentioned it may have been posted from the train station where Mike's wife goes to commute to her job, and named her place of work. However, there is no way that the information he was describing could have been narrowed down that precisely with the IP address GregTR found from the Wiki edit.

GregTR (who is an IT specialist I believe) said that the IP corresponded to a place near where Mike lives (a multi-mile radius), but not exactly where. Only somebody with personal knowledge of the wife's commuting route could say for certain that is was at that train station. GregTR can speak to this in more detail, but the poster LMR later showed he had no understanding of internet protocols.

In other words, I believe that the poster LMR had intimate knowledge of a private person's movements and published them. He attempted to backtrack by later saying it was publicly accessible, but didn't realize this was not possible.

Other issues related to this poster have disturbed the LR community.

Most importantly, LMR has become increasingly unstable and obsessed with Mike himself. He admits to not caring about running, has personally received a cease & desist letter from Mike's attorney for trying to unfairly compete with Mike's business, and went on to say some pretty offensive things about Nazis etc. Gatorade & Vodka and others can testify to this.

Sorry for being long-winded. I appreciate your concern and your responsiveness on this issue, and I know others do as well.

OMG! Do you even know how IP addresses work? The internet company assigns them to the router in your home. So when you trace an IP address it tells people where your home is. It's not the same as a GPS tracker.

As per the IP addresses in the wikipedia changes, the first change was done yesterday at 2:40 in the morning, from near the Glenside Train Station. Do you really think I am sitting outside Mike's house at 2:40 AM waiting for his wife to take the train?

The second change was made at 10 PM yesterday from near Riverton, NJ.
