Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

The brojos have exchanged emails with Ken. They will know if he is responsible for posting Rossi's wife's personal info. If so, they might consider blocking his IP address, but who knows. If Rossi is tweeting to the world his vacation plans and such, how much privacy can he (and, by extension, his wife) expect.

Keep focusing on McKeever, Yasso, and the folks at LVM. Someone must have access to one of them. That someone needs to open a dialog and try to find out the basis for Barb's decision to not DQ Rossi. If she really didn't do any real investigation, she could come out of this looking even worse than she already does. Right now, she just looks incompetent. If she lied about doing an investigation, she would look complicit.

Amateur trolling... Seems to me Mike has been building up bad karma for a long time until this blow up. Now that it's unravelling he's going to try to do some moral good with the exception of coming clean. Karma doesn't work that way buddy, you can't hide from it. I only speak for myself, but I never thought he was a bad guy. He cheated running a marathon, it's not the end of the world. However, you are 100% wrong if you think he conducted himself well during this fiasco.

If he's all about raising money for charity, I still can't figure out why he didn't just do that in the first place in order to run Boston. Having said that, I wish him well in his golf tournament. Honestly, I hope he raises a lot of money.

I've heard he plays a Kim Jong-Il style of golf, though. I wonder if he'll even bother playing holes 2-17.

He didn't just start it this year , it has been an annual event since at least 2011 as far as I can tell , maybe even before that

I am writing to you and asking that you review the posts of one individual and consider banning them from posting on this site permanently.

The relevant thread is the Mike Rossi thread. While the spirit of the thread has been to expose and publicize Mike Rossi's marathon cheating, there has no doubt been hundreds if not thousands of off-color jokes and trolling - particularly at Rossi's expense. However, one individual has taken it upon themselves to post personal information about members of Rossi's family, which in my view, goes too far.

Essentially, the poster "LMR" describes the commuting route and place of work for Mike Rossi's wife: […] the IP address for the Wikipedia change seems to have been near the Glenside Train Station. My guess is the wife changed it while waiting for the train to take her into Philly for work at University of Penn Hospital…" Posted 7/28/2015 6:18PM.

The information is obviously personal and could not be easily found online (e.g. - a specific commute route). This is not the only incident in which this has happened, and I feel that if left unchecked, the individual will progressively reveal more personal information and invite harassment. Ironically, this is the type of reckless online behavior for which Mike Rossi has become infamous.

Everybody loves this site because - for better or for worse - "while we moderate the forums, one unique feature that encourages the free flow of information is if you want to be anonymous on our forums you can be." However, I feel that this poster is becoming more and more reckless with the personal information of a private person and may eventually cause harassment beyond the forums and into real life.

I cannot be 100% sure of the identity of the poster "LMR". That said, there is a good possibility that that he has also posted under the name "LoserMikeRossi" - who has identified himself as Kenneth Stillman: "Looks like I have to abandon my registered user name [LoserMikerossi] since it's being used with a lower case L in place of the i. New name is LMR. I will not be posting using the old name anymore. Anything posted under that name is not me." Posted 7/28/2015 2:47PM. If these posters are not the same, then I apologize to Mr. Stillman, but still stand by my words with respect to "LMR".

I hope that you will consider my request to review and ban this poster in order to ensure the personal security of family members is not threatened, and request that I remain anonymous as I have a family of my own and do not want to invite harassment against them. I am also posting this on the thread so as to invite feedback from others and "LMR" himself.
