He's got a lot of those moments in his future right there where he lives and everyone knows he cheated.

That's what you wish would happen , you think that 500,000 some odd number of folks who live in his area follow this , in reality the world is so much larger and diverse than you know obviously know , and you believe your interests are the same as everyone else interests . Yeah sure I could see that happening , but the ones that don't know out number those that do . I see people standing in front of abortion clinics too shouting at those going in and out , hasn't affected the bottom line of the doctors inside the clinic .

I agree ... The people who know about Mike cheating are outnumbered by those who don't.
That said, if I cheated in a marathon and it resulted in numerous newspaper and magazine articles, I'm not sure how happy I would be thinking that "well, hopefully my boss and coworkers and family don't find out".

You forgot one other thing Mike is doing this summer -- personally attacking and attempting to intimidate anyone who questions his 3:11:45 at LVM.
One thing he's not doing is providing any credible evidence he ran the full course. Oh, but that's right, he doesn't owe us any proof. Mike wins! Hahahaha

His refusal to provide this board any credible evidence he ran the full course is his decision , not what I would have elected to do in his place , but I totally understand why because it is getting under your skin and he is happy needling all of you, and anything he provided you would all say it was doctored , I've read it lots of times in this thread . I wouldn't count on Mike sitting around feeling satisfied. He made enough mistakes in his cheat to get caught red-handed. He's just been lucky that the RD is a wuss that is trying to sweep this under the rug.
What he's really doing at home is wondering what information is still out there that will be proof positive that he didn't run the race. Because he knows he can't cover it up.
It could be a volunteer at the race that snapped a shot of him walking to his car. Or it could be a wedding guest that posts a photo booth pic to her Instagram. Who knows where the missing piece might be?

Unless Mike is the most comprehensively deluded person of all time (a possibility I am not ruling out), then not only does he severely regret that stupid viral letter to the principal but also that he ever ran Boston.
He doesn't regret it because cheating is wrong and now he has to live a lie for the rest of his life, no. He regrets it because both running Boston and the letter were supposed to feed his giant ego, something people could "like" on his Facebook page or pat him on the back about.
Only now, he is getting plenty of attention but it is nearly all bad. Boston, the letter and now his exposed cheating have a huge net negative on people's opinion of him. He didn't really care about running Boston, he cared that people knew he ran Boston and that it elevated their opinion of him. That probably worked initially (though anyone who saw that Boston video he made of himself would have been laughing long and loud behind his back), only now the pendulum has swung far in the opposite direction and his behavior on Twitter, etc, is only compounding that.
He would have been better off doing none of it. Most everyone he knows would have a higher opinion of him right now if he had never run a single step. He'll never admit that, and that's fine by me, but I'm pretty content knowing that Mike's scam at LVM was one of the biggest all time backfires.
Mike wins a lifetime of living a lie and notoriety among runners as one of the sport's all time punchlines. Well done.

He has refused to show anyone any evidence whatsoever, this board and anyone outside of this board. Yet he has no problem being the boy who cried wolf that he has pictures given to him by the LVM that supposedly shows him on the course. We and the LVM knows this is a bold face lie. The only photos he has are those at the finish line and start line. If he or the LVM had such photos we would have seen them. Stop being such a twit.

Let me add that there are people who have hated him way before this all even started. People in the event industry and even a few who worked with him at East Coast. And I have talked with many of them.
They are loving watching him go down in flames. They are loving him destroy his reputation. Mike Rossi, the guy who has belittled so many, is now a joke who is being ridiculed throughout the event industry.
