Yes.

Yes.
My guess is Mike Rossi runs again for fitness and health but won't officially enter any races again in the near future.
What's Lehigh race director Barb McKeever's response to all the latest including the 100K offer from letsrun.com?

No.
Because "...he's trying to distance himself...etc"
Yes.

http://imgur.com/Jvb7YhjMr Rossi, further to your lawyers C&D letter to Mr Stillman. It would appear the claims are based solely on what Mr Stillman has allegedly written and posted on the LetsRun message board under the 'LoserMikeRossi' user name.
If in the extremely unlikely event you should take this matter to court who will be scrutinizing this thread? There are 12,067 posts on this thread, possibly hundreds under the 'LoserMikeRossi' user name, how do you intend to harness and collate these?, will it be you or are you employing a legal assistant to do it? What do you intend to do if a counter claim is made against you?
Mike pays, Grimes wins, Mike loses (the case).

I like the lawyer's letter, not least for its old world charm. The font, the indented paragraphs, the use of the post-nominal "esquire", etc. Then the evocative, almost poetic phrasing: "malicious intent", "inflict emotional harm", "the treacherous course", "stand ready". 7.5/10

He also finally un-pinned that ridiculous story about the principal from his Twitter feed.
My first post on the world-famous Mike Rossi/cheater thread. I am not a runner but a professional poker player. Find out about cheating card-sharps at "letspoker.com"
The payoff thing about being a cheater and a liar is the adrenaline lasts a lifetime, or however long you are willing to front, I suppose.
Cecily Tynan was the weatherperson that exchanged tweets (since deleted?) with Rossi soon after the Lehigh Valley race. From what I recall, she appeared somewhat surprised that he qualified. I think he thanked her for the weather. Her TV station is a sponsor of the Lehigh Valley Race. Here is a LVM promo featuring Cecily:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXwj_dgMly8

No idea... never heard of her until now (I'm in California and saw that article "suggested" at the bottom of the other PhillyMag article posted on this thread.
She's got some respectable times on Athlinks:
http://www.athlinks.com/Result/Search#!athlete/cecily%20tynan
Just a quick glance I see stuff like:
10:51:21 @ Kona Hawaii Ironman
1:00:38 @ Cherry Blossom 10-miler
lots of mid-high 18:xx & low-mid 19:xx 5ks
Appears to be just a meteorologist who likes to run. But she's a local media personality with 138,380 likes on her Facebook page, so this will get some attention among the local Philadelphia community, and perhaps among those that don't run.
For example, one exchange:
Ada Nestor: As someone who is not a runner, can someone explain what the controversy is?
Cecily Tynan: Have you read the article?
Ada Nestor- Yes, but I got a little lost in all of it, honestly.
Ada Nestor- How would someone be able to "cheat" a race?
Rebecca Reed- Because he needed to finish that first race in a certain amount of time to be able to qualify for the Boston marathon. If he didn't finish in the time he said he did, then he should not have been permitted to enter the Boston race in the first place. And that means he took a spot away from someone who legitimately qualified to run it.
Ada Nestor- But, I've been to some bike races, and Spartan like races, and it seems automated. So how could he cheat that system? (Not defending him, just don't see how someone could cheat that system).
Cecily Tynan- If they don't have timing mats throughout the race, someone could start, jump in a car and drive to the finish, and cross the finish line. Or, in the case of Rosie Ruiz, take a subway in a big city.
Ada Nestor- Wow. That's ridiculous.
Andrea Wonderlin- In his qualifying race they have relay marathon teams, so there are cars and people are in and out of them through out the course. Making it even easier for him to cheat.
Ada Nestor- That's insane. If it's true then I hope the entire world that stood behind his viral letter, takes as equal a stand against him cheating, cause that's a great example to set for his children!
Timothy Vandervlugt- He was the ONLY runner in the top 200 not photographed at the mid-race check points.
Ada Nestor- Pretty damning.

We have a winner. There's no way he will even be caught out joy jogging, let alone training for the easiest of the offers made (the 20:00 5K). Can you imagine video footage getting out of him training on a track?
That alone would add 1,000 posts to this thread.
It would be excellent comedy value to see the Duckster's gait on a track.
They remove or delete criticism on the VIA FB page. Not sure if they have just blocked some or all people from posting. She hasn't responded to other direct requests for information either AFAIK.

Just making a joke.
Many seem to run with better mechanics when running fast or near their top speed. Hopefully someone will get video. I'm sure once he reads "Once A Runner" he'll crush that mythical quarter session. And have a semi-professional video to prove it with narrative by James Earl Jones.

We are on the lookout at his favorite running spots and local races. If he starts running again there will be video!

Agreed, generally these are people with orthodox mechanics but poor endurance, I suspect that these are the Duckinator's mechanics at any speed though.

Good. That's the story that should die, anything "good" about that letter.
If he'd sincerely apologize about that, is give up on the cheating. We know he did, most rational people know he did. The principal deserves a real apology. Preferable from Mike during a big press conference. If he wanted to admit the cheating at the end, I'd be OK with that!

Mike -
In light of the Chasing the Unicorn Marathon's offer, we'd like to make one as well.
FindMyMarathon.com would like to offer you a free pace wrist band for their marathon or any other marathon or half marathon you choose so you can stay on pace. You can choose the pacing strategies and/or splits or we can suggest them for for you.
If you choose the 10 mile or 5K option, we will even provide a special free band for these races as well.
http://findmymarathon.com/paceband.phprunfatpat wrote:Cecily was third at a DisneyWorld Marthon 2:54 and she blew up the last three miles Was trying for a B Sandard
But Cec, the offer was $10K not $100K? Wasn't it... and.... from the office at runBUCKS
We've avoided the situation so far.
(his Athlinks reported 5K times are from our Christmas In July 5K)
but have talked about it privately. MIKE ROSSI we'd like to offer you a free entry to Chasing the Unicorn Marathon THE RACE TO QUALIFY...
you can earn that $100,000 OR $10,000 here,
close to home with a race crew you know and can trust!
The course is double out-and-back and we do have check point timing) Let's shut the critics up
Pat McCloskey
So Mike has a free entry into a local marathon and a free pace band for the race.
Let's help Mike get a full kit for his big race. I'm sure there are some interesting shirt designs that could be explored.
