Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

The only reason I can think of why he kept his head down in those finish line shot is because he was afraid he might have been seen/pictured leaving the course with regular clothing so this way no one would easily match the photos.I love it, LRC has big balls for doing this. If Mike had any balls he would publicly accept the challenge right away. Even if he knows he can't ever beat those times it would still serve his self-loving needs well to keep his name in the spotlight a little longer.

I'm glad they picked it up. The comments are still luke warm. Some are indifferent or wanting this story to die. Some say good, get the cheater. One I thought was interesting: Why not give that money to somebody who worked hard???

He has a lawyer that is going to cost him big bucks if he chooses to sue the brojos .He'd have to really be stupid to show up at VIA . There comes a time when even the most pompous tool realises defeat. It's not even about a dq lanymore ( not for me anyhow) ...im long past that , now I'm going to enjoy the circus thats going to ensue that morning if he decides to participate .

And could any attorneys weigh in here - assuming Mike cheated, would he ever risk suing the Brojos? Would they look at a preponderance of the evidence for and against, or would it fall strictly on the Brojos to show the evidence against? Because it's obvious he has no evidence he ran. Would he be compelled to show phone data?

I got my Boston Marathon Record Book in the mail today. Went straight to Rossi's name and marked it out with a sharpie.

I believe I said I wouldn't post unless there was a major development. The point was that I wouldn't continue to post in the mide of DJ wars.

Since then there was the LRC article, Runners World and Philadelphia magazine picked up the story. That qualifies as a major development. It also does help that the DJ wars has cooled off.

I am not a lawyer . I am just considering the question as if I was Mike . Its not a criminal case more like 2 neighbors who cant get along ( us here at LRC being the neighbor) I dont think the standards of evidence are as serious . More like a civil case where one side makes its claim with whatever it has as its evidence and so does the other and a judge mskes a decision if anyone is emtitled to anything . But Mike doesnt have anything to say or show . It'd be dumb to sue wouldn't Iit ? But hey his lawyer still gets paid no matter wjat the outcome . Its like a divorce . The lawyers win nobody else.
