Hunter did set an indoor PR by 1.01 secs, and his time was 0.35 faster than his outdoor best last year. Not too shabby for a 19 year old, but critics will say he ONLY ran 3:56.80 and ONLY finished 7th. He's 19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or, to put it another way, he's ONLY 19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry you don't get to play the age card in the pro ranks. I'm sure in a couple of years he will be up there but for me he went from an exciting college prospect to a meh pro. And contrary to what another poster said he wouldn't be contending for titles at the NCAA level this year either.

And he'd probably agree, but he's doubled over from laughing his way to the bank, and his term paper isn't due on Monday, either. That's for next year, maybe, and then he can pay someone to write it.

In 1908 Rodman Wanamaker initiated the Millrose Games. They are now held at the armory in New York City. (Millrose was Wanamaker's country estate near Jenkintown, Pennsylvania). He also inaugurated the Wanamaker Mile, and reportedly began the tradition of playing The Star Spangled Banner at a sporting event.

anyone else think cabral could afford to lose a few kilos off the arms? jeez. I understand the guy has a sort of non-traditional build and all but it seems like he should lay off the weights and slim down just a tad. The way he swings those meat hooks makes me think he might be winning this two mile if he had some kenyan arms. the guy is smart and has to realize that you run with your legs and cardiovascular system...

Again , he is a stud for 19. But as a pro he is avg. I now judge him against all pros not 19 yr olds . You know cuz he went pro.
