Yeah, short attack by Ndiku w/ 200m left but Edris felt him and responded.

Edris, the 2012 world junior champ, took the lead with 300 to go and won in 1254. thanks to 55.78 last lap.

Why not keep pushing pace for home at that point instead of waiting for someone else to take lead?

He looked good until they hit the last lap and he had NOTHING to respond to the surge.

How much could Rupp make as a professional pacer where he could pace everything from 1500-HM for about 95% of the race?

not really - he started to suck wind with 3 laps to go - the africans were bunching up behind him as rupp could only manage 64s.

Is it safe to say Ahmed is the best Canadian now?

Windy. First Pacemaker struggled to hold the pace, Rupp could grind all he wanted and wouldn't have run faster than 62.

Because he was knackered.

So Manzano beats the young 1:43 guy Afred Kipketer in an 800.

Let's see how he finishes the season in 1500.

Maybe he can get world ranked again this year.
