The problem with evidence is the way in which the LVM statemtn was worded. Their statement did not say that here is why we believe he did not cheat and here is the evidence, as one would expect. Instead, they apparently focused on proving a negative, that is that there was no conclusive evidence that his time was not inaccurate. Then said they would consider any additional conclusive evidence, which given their definition, its going to be hard (to prove his time is inaccurate). In addition, the last thing they said was that they are not going to make any further comments.

Also, given Mr. Stillman's obvious personal vendetta and that he has brought in Mr. Rossi's wife, family life, kids, employer, co-workers, and other inappropriate things, the Lehigh Valley Health Network Via Marathon will not consider anything, no matter the strength or validity if it is determined that Mr. Stillman had anything remotely to do with it or its discovery.

The possibility they might consider additional evidence seems to be bullshit given the last sentence. Their tone seems to be to STFU because we've corrected the problem with timing mats in next year's race.

Why add any timing mats in next year's race if there's no reason to think Rossi's time was inaccurate?

Then we are back to square one but my instinct tells me that Mike Rossi crossed the start line and peeled right off immediately so he won't be in the video. It's the easiest way to get out of the race without drawing suspicion.
