I set a PB this morning by going under 13 minutes on my local 5k route, in sandles. Start line, feeling fresh, knowing today was the day. Shook out the legs. Hit start on my Garmin 610, was exactly 6:12 am - go time. I started off a bit faster than I planed, but felt good. I got to my car, after 100m of "foot distance", but lost some seconds fumbling for my keys and taking a selfie. Recovered quickly and on my way. A young woman with a stroller in the cross walk forced me to a stop in an area where I normally cruise through. Checked my watch, losing time. Decided not to panic. Delay caused me to miss a green light. Contemplated going off route, pride kept me from it. Stayed focused on wanting to earn my time. Second red light made we to wonder if today was not going to be my day, thought about the children and what I'd say to them when I got home. I need this. They need this. Doubt again seized me when I remembered the small numbers of parking spots that are close to the finish. Again, fate played me s bad card, had to park in the further lot. Out of my car now, time is 11:53. Pour water over my head. I know I can do this. Take selfie. Start my finishing kick. Almost lost a sandal, but... 12:58, 5k exactly!!! Open door to Starbucks, take another selfie. I did it! Rossi 5k PB. Oh yeah, I just earned pride with my venti Americano with an extra shot!! I start to wonder how many people have gone under 13 for a 5k, the enormity of it starts to overwhelm me a little. I'm not ashamed to say the emotions boiled over at this point and I cried a little.
Anyone doubting my time I've got photos and my garmin time to prove it.

He said he will speak to his editor to let him know that he has received calls on the Rossi Cheating to BQ situation, but that is all he can do. The editor decides whether to assign someone to look into the story, which might include reviewing Harry's unpublished video and photos. Unless they decide to publish an article, we will never know whether they looked into it or not. If I was Rossi, I would not sleep well the next few months. At any time, he could have the rug pulled out from under him.

Yesterday I emailed the writer of the article that the site ran and explained the situation. His name is Dan Sheridan. He hasn't gotten back, but just be aware that he is now aware and there's no reason to bug him either.
Honestly, I think they'd be stupid not to look at this footage and try and break this story. The didn't have an issue with reporting that there were allegations. So if they have any bested interest in the marathon doing well some of that went out the window just with that story.
Breaking this case would be a huge boon for them. They'd be breaking Rossigate.
