Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

Do you have a particular reason for not using a single screen name? If it was registered then people could stop pretending to be you. Otherwise, it can get confusing. Just a thought.

MIKE ROSSI - this is a repost from earlier. Please answer the questions as to why you will not share or post the photos you claim you got from the LVM Committee, which I know is a LIE (that they gave you any photos). You and everyone else who was here earlier saw I said i was out of town. I am not hiding behind a fake name. You are changing your name with every post. If you want to meet, I need to know that it is you posting so you will have to send me an email.

MIKE - I do not have a personal vendetta against you as I do not know you. There is nothing in my post history to support your assertion so I urge you to retract that. I believe someone else here who knows you has on, but I unequivocally do do not. I am not making nor have I made disparaging remarks about your physical appearance, wife, children, professional life or business. None - Never. I do not care for those comments.

I did however lay out and summarize facts surrounding this fiasco as they are known right now. At times, I have referenced visual proof (or lack thereof) and other information to support those facts. You are also free to provide whatever proof you have to counter any and all "facts" in the public domain. However, you have elected not to. If your information proves to be true and can substantiated, I will say so. If you care to correct any facts, please feel free to share them now.

Also, you said to me that you would present to me photos that were given to you by LVM Committee, did you not? So when we meet at Starbucks (I want the largest Latte possible), please be sure to have those photos with you, because quite honestly, those to me are the most important piece of evidence there is. You also mentioned GPS logs so bring those too. But hey, here is a novel ideal. POST THEM RIGHT HERE. Right now!

As for meeting you, I am happy to and as I recall you indicated that I could bring anyone I wanted to. As you may also recall, I indicated that when you offered to meet me, I was not available after 9 am on either of last Thurs or Friday and you indicated that Sat or Sun were not good for you. I do not work at nights, but I am an early riser and in the office at 6:30 a.m. every morning when in town. I am a morning person for work and an evening runner. I do not have the luxury to wait until after 9 am on a weekday to meet you. If you care to make it earlier or perhaps at a lunch time and I can arrange for someone to accompany me, I am happy to meet you. Right now, I am not in Pennsylvania which is why I can post here (food fight, lol), but it is hard to meet when not in town. Some of us really do work

He's a habitual liar who was charged by the Attorney General with defrauding over 80 of his clients.

We gave him a few jobs, even offered to help him catch up on his editing.

He FELL ASLEEP at one of our weddings...the venue called us to let us know.

He denied it, got pissed and now he obviously has a personal vendetta...

Apparently the marathon was the only chance his kids would ever have to visit Boston, go to an aquarium and do some exercise.

Dear Madam Principal,

While I appreciate your concern for our children’s education, I can promise you they learned as much in the five days we were in Boston as they would in an entire year in school.

Our children had a once-in-a-lifetime experience, one that can’t be duplicated in a classroom or read in a book.

In the 3 days of school they missed (which consisted of standardized testing that they could take any time) they learned about dedication, commitment, love, perseverance, overcoming adversity, civic pride, patriotism, American history culinary arts and physical education.

They watched their father overcome, injury, bad weather, the death of a loved one and many other obstacles to achieve an important personal goal.

They also experienced first-hand the love and support of thousands of others cheering on people with a common goal.

At the marathon, they watched blind runners, runners with prosthetic limbs and debilitating diseases and people running to raise money for great causes run in the most prestigious and historic marathon in the world.

They also paid tribute to the victims of a senseless act of terrorism and learned that no matter what evil may occur, terrorists can not deter the American spirit.

These are things they won’t ever truly learn in the classroom.

In addition our children walked the Freedom Trail, visited the site of the Boston Tea Party, the Boston Massacre and the graves of several signers of the Declaration of Independence.

These are things they WILL learn in school a year or more from now. So in actuality our children are ahead of the game.

They also visited an aquarium, sampled great cuisine and spent many hours of physical activity walking and swimming.

We appreciate the efforts of the wonderful teachers and staff and cherish the education they are receiving at Rydal Elementary School. We truly love our school.

But I wouldn’t hesitate to pull them out of school again for an experience like the one they had this past week.

How do you address the argument from some on LetsRun that you could not have run the entire course because you did not have race photos taken between the beginning and finish points?

What is the most likely explanation for this (assuming it is true) in your view?

Sure, we're all nobodies. But your argument does not really pass the test of Occam's Razor...

Which is more likely?

a) There are photos that could clear Mr. Rossi's name and prove once and for all that he in fact was present at least at some points during the marathon besides the start and finish. But Mr. Rossi who blogged and Facebook posted about everything simply refuses to show these photos to anybody because they're all "nobodies".

b) There is absolutely nothing in MR. Rossi's posession that could possibly clear his name and prove that he in fact ran the entire LVM course in 3:11 and he's just trolling everyone here for fun while collecting more "evidence" for a massive lawsuit.

Oh, BTW abingtonrunner even if you wrote something libelous about MR. Rossi libel is a tort case and it is a civil matter. No police would arrest you for it. I'm not saying you did, I'm just saying even if you did you would not get arrested for it.

Thanks. I hope you don't think that I was trying to insult you - I know this forum can be combative at times.

That is a valid explanation for why there are not photos.

To answer your question, I do not know why you haven't shared these photos of you on the course. I would imagine that it would end this argument, but I am sure you have your reasons.

Is there any situation in which you would produce some of these photos? I hope you can understand that it looks like you may be hiding something by not releasing them.
