Also TME guys didn't do too hot, either. Wasn't sure about Reed even after a great half at Houston, since this was his first marathon, but definitely thought Brogan would do better than he finished.
Tough weekend for TME overall. As an unbiased observer, it looked like towards the beginning of this year they were running pretty dang well. And even last spring w/ Drew making the world team.
Pretty disappointing to see them run so poorly today.
Am I wrong or did Abdi back off and not pass Riley for 2nd because he didn't want to pass him in the chute and it didn't matter? If they were fighting for.3rd I think he would have nipped him
reed hit the deck hard at mile 5- he was in the lead pack and i saw it happen. his body locked up big time after he got back up. definitely affected the rest of his race

Apparently he fell twice and hit his head the second time. He was done after that.

Props to all of the Abdi fans who stayed loyal and never doubted his gangsta status. I never doubted Rupp’s street cred, but even amateurs know not to cross Rupp in a dark alley when he is in the wrong mood.
