What a great photo, it really gives you a sense of their relationship; his empathy, her sadness in defeat, their affection for each other. Amazing!
It's official: Bernard Lagat the #5 Pick for Trials, Jim Walmsley #6 wejo

Hasay could take a page from Alexi's book.
1. Become a citizen of a different country
2. Become an entertainer
Alexi is different and, plainly, not my cup of tea but she made smart moves (Greece + Movie).
The question becomes which countries can Jordan Hasay fast track citizenship? There are 206 NOC countries. Here is what I was thinking:
a. UK b/c of her mom (RIP) but what if she doesnt make the team?
b. Aruba
c. Trinidad & Tobago
The list goes on for 30-ish more countries just in the Americas and another 15-ish in Europe where she could make the team. France, Italy, Holland, etc. Think about it: Africans do this all the time including to the US plus these countries all have good vacation spots.
TLDR: Sell the house in California and adopt a similar Internet Campaign:
JORDÀN. STRIKE. BÀCK.

Yes, this was the photo of the day.

Yes, this is definitely the picture of the day. More people need to see these sorts of positive images.
Totally agree. The "official" Let'sBeDouchebags.com" photo of the day was a nice one, but an expected and predictable one.
Galen waiting around for Jordan and greeting her like she was a family member/sister in grief, (she was) is also what sport can be all about.
Despite all the sociopathic flack he's taken for almost two decades here, Galen is both clean and a profoundly good guy.

Good on Galen. This would’ve been 40 minutes after he finished, at least.

Amen brother!
Rupp may be many things, but he struck me as a big brother type who actually cares about those around him. This pic doesn’t surprise me in a bit.
If Only the Bros actually had the kind of compassion for runners that that photo displayed. At least one Bro has no job but to degrade this sport.

Everyone needs to watch Alexi's movie and Jordan needs her Olympic wish to come true no matter what it takes.

Except Mary Cain. And pretty much every other female athlete that passed through the Oregon Project.

This picture illustrates who Galen has been all along. Place your negativity elsewhere.
There were so many people to bash at Jordan hasay after the trials because of her performance. Rupp made sure that he should comfort her. Rupp is earning more respect here.
I love this picture. Good on Rupp to show compassion.
And good on Hasay for finishing, too.
Man, what a devastating day for Jordan, Desi, Huddle etc. Four years of preparation, countless hours of training...it did not pan out. Good on Rupp to comfort his teammate and friend. I hope JH comes back stronger and is on the podium the next cycle. She still has a lot of running left in her. I wouldn't be a bad plan to go back to basics, i.e reach out to her HS coach.
The picture does not illustrate who Galen has been a long and fact I say the picture illustrates who he has become through the difficulties of the last year and it's encouraging and refreshing
if anybody has ever met Rupp , he is , I should say he has been a very offish very cocky very self centered individual it is really refreshing and nice to see him become a fan of the sport a contributor to the sport a likable figure in the sport
Becoming a rupp fan
Rupp .... dont let us down !!!
Heep up the transformation!!!!
Go team USA
Real Life Scenario: Imagine if a Smart TV in your private Marriott hotel room malfunctioned and got stuck on standby.
This is what you would see OVER and OVER again until you figured out how to unplug and wait ten seconds before hard restarting the machine.
The point is Alexi Pappas built a brand and one of the fruits of her efforts was an unrivaled gain in publicity on those millions of malfunctioning Marriott TVs across America.

Good idea. What country does the surname "Hasay" come from?
