this would accelerate the timetable for 10000 posts a bit:

I think this will slow down, but it shows no signs of deceleration in quantity, serious deceleration in quality.

That make's no sense. As for as I know, Mike Rossi did not threaten my (abingtonrunner2 or abingtonrunner) life. In addition, I never threatened his (Rossi's) life either.
Did Rossi's 3:11 BQ him for both 2015 and 2016?
Could someone explain what this "threatening your life" thing is about? There was some kerfuffle about an Animal House quote, but what is this threat stuff about?
I've met friends and colleagues for coffee hundreds of times and it's always been before 9 AM. How is only agreeing to meet before 9 AM being elusive?
It's been fun, but there is just too much negative energy here and too many new a$$holes who post bullshlt and lots of great people who used to post all the time who have left or gone underground. Nobody has threatened anything.
Nobody has threatened his life. Nobody has threatened to mess with his work. Nobody has threatened to mess with his wife. Nobody has threatened to mess with his kids.
All we have done is speculate as to the negative side affects that could result from his further denial of the truth.
Think of all the weight that would be off your chest if you just stood in front of a news camera for 5 minutes and explained what you did and why.

I made a reference to Animal House quote and put his name and the Race Directors in it. Do some searching. His lawyer called this site. Banned my IP address. Enough said.
Second, Rossi will only meet after 9 a.m. M-F. I would prefer not to wait until after 9 a.m., that is not to say I won't, but his offer was only middle of last week and I was already busy Thurs and Frid. I suggested anytime Sat or Sun and he said no. It is only Tuesday now.

For something as important as this, why can't you make a sacrifice and do it after 9am?

Maybe at Lehigh Marathon this September they could have him do a meet and greet, it could be a great fundraiser for the hospital.
What is the purpose of the meeting between Abington, or anyone else for that matter, and him? To make peace?

When you meet with someone who appears to be a pathological liar, bring a witness. I'd bring two. You are going to need someone who can say what actually happened, not the Rossi version.
The police aren't going to arrest anyone for quoting from a comedy. I don't know why this is being brought up again, it's just dumb. If the police wanted to arrest anyone, they would have done it already. it's not hard to track down a person from their IP address.

MIKE - I do not have a personal vendetta against you as I do not know you. There is nothing in my post history to support your assertion so I urge you to retract that. I believe someone else here who knows you has on, but I unequivocally do do not. I do not know Rossi or Ken. Since Rossi will not show the evidence that he has because it will violate National Security laws, and I live in the same neighborhood, Rossi offered to meet me to show my his treasure trove of evidence. Yes, it is all very Cold War-ish. I hope Anna Chapman shows up, that would be hot!
So I am thinking of getting a tattoo to somehow commenurate all this madness, any suggestions?
right now I am thinking of a timing mat in orange and blue with the words "hit em all" over it. figure that can have multiple cool meanings.
