Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

There has been zero mention of children or family other than "let's leave the children and family out of it!" for the last 20+ pages... NOBODY mentioned anything even remotely derogatory, hurtful or anything else negative ever in this thread from the get go. I don't understand the whole subject matter, it's simply a non-issue.

I've checked photos for the last hour with no luck. Started with 3:40 finishers and then went down to 3:25 (BQ for his age). I focused on finding a black hat though. If he started without one, I'm not sure I would recognize his face. Also not sure where the first pictures are taken. He may have already jumped off the course by then.

I'm willing to bet he jumped out just after crossing the first mat. The race starts in the hospital parking lot, and does a big loop around it before getting down into the Lehigh Valley parkway. Plenty of people watching their relay runners start, then getting in cars and driving to their exchange zones.[quote]

You should celebrate others successes rather and criticize them. Perhaps if you put more work into your training you might be able to qualify for Boston.

I am a marathoner & a BOSTON QUALIFIER & BOSTON MARATHON FINISHER. When I crossed the finish line, it was my finest hour ! I had reached the PINNACLE in OUR SPORT. IF THIS GUY ROSSI did in fact cheat the medal he received MUST BE RETURNED & OR TAKEN AWAY FROM HIM. He is a disgrace to OUR sport. His running time of 3:11 @ Lehigh is suspicious at best. 7:00 min mile pace ....Plaeeeeeezee ! At age 50 ? Seriously doubt it. The guy is BOGUS ! SEND OUT THE DARK UNICORN TO AVENGE THIS INSULT.

I can run a BQ any day of the week on a moments notice. Let's see Mike name a time and place and I would be more than happy to see if he can run a BQ.

True. I cannot prove he cheated. But the collective work of LRC can. My faith is strong since Kip Litton. I have BQ'd, but felt it was a personal accomplishment and not something for others to feel envy or jealousy over. Thanks for replying.

I for one am totally jealous of a 3:11 marathon time. You got me there! I'm a chick though, so I still got to run Boston.

thats the thing-- neither was Rossi according to the photographic evidence. He only appears at the beginning and the end. It would be nice to have Rossi's GPS data to help refute these allegations, but many (rightfully) suspect that it simply doesnt exist. Mostly because Rossi did not run the full course.

A bunch of us were there, and our presence was well documented throughout the event with photos and stuff. Where was Mike?
