Wrong. They take a split of EVERY runner every 3 miles and at half way. This is done the old-fashioned way by volunteers with a stopwatch and clipboard. only the finsh time is posted with results, but the RD will provide your splits if you email a request.
I doubt Saucy Rossi or you Jogger's World types stalking him would like the race much. It is often too hot and the finisher's medal is nothing special. I highly recommend it though.
Well, so much for getting Rossi to Columbia, MO, you just ruined it and let him know they take splits! I do harbor some resentment to whoever posted this as I feel you might have called me a "jogger world type" and a stalker... I do think it is a highly recommend race, but yes, I haven't done it myself (though I have volunteered at it). It typically falls during triathlon season which is my primary focus.
