Thanks for assembling such clear and irrefutable evidence. For the RD's decision to be vindicated, a photo of the missing runner in the same location would need to be produced. In the absence of such a photo, the decision must be insupportable.

While it may be true that others outside this forum don't understand that he most likely cheated at LV, people in our local community do know what he did to his principal and no one was happy with him for that.

We have a 4:00 marathoner leading the charge to DQ a 3:11 marathoner. Isn't "guru" a bit of a stretch? The brojos have no problem with this thread because they get the clicks from a few obsessed knuckleheads, the world honestly doesn't know or care. Thousands and thousands care about MR? Wouldn't the mainstream press already be involved if there was a story.

Awesome job - let's get that youtube URL posted on the VIA marathon facebook page and the runner's world forum - I'm still working on the bike path video, eight bibs left to identify - 1709, 1721, 2032, 2076 ,2161, 2165, 2241, 2484; in the meantime if anyone spots these, post a photo number.

Current probability that bib 2161 ran through both locations and was missed by random chance by the photographers = (1/200) x (8/200) = 0.02%

And rest easy regarding Mike Rossi; his life is getting worse by the minute. By failing to disqualify him, the marathon has forced the evidence against him to be even more "formalized" into videos on Youtube, articles, blogs, social media posts that are anything but anonymous (and NOBODY is getting sued for calling him a cheat), and so forth. There simply is no "victory" for him in any of this.

I don't know if his children (step children, if I am not mistaken) will ever read this whole thread. They will watch a six minute video at some point.

I am thinking that LVHM will have to turn off (or delete) comments again at some point once they see this is not going away. The negative publicity is still mounting. Either that or do the right thing and DQ Mike Rossi.

LVHM will be fine next year. Their numbers will be up. If I run one marathon next year it will be Via. That will offset the one person that will skip this race because of a non DQ...oh who am I kidding, not one person will skip this race because of Mike Rossi.
