Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

I still think the fake wedding hiring him as a DJ then springing the 60 minutes treatment on him would be the best but in an effort to get a confession I will now:

Move to PA get married to a woman w kids same age as his. Then I will ingratiate myself with school and running clubs and do races. I may even become a wedding planner as well. I figure it will take 3 years to get close to him and then another year of "friendship" and then I will get him drunk on a Viagra truth serum jack Daniels cocktail and get the truth out and tape I to my cellphone. When I do I will post it on this thread.

Need to get started on the first part of plan to get married so I guess I need to move out of parents basement get a job and stuff that girls like. This is gonna be harder than I thought isn't it?

You may need more than 3 years for the plan but then again that may be quicker than trying to post him into a confession on this thread. Be careful going undercover that you do not lose sight of your true self. That is a big risk for a lot of cops and agents. Good luck.

Do you stand up to every DA or start a letter writing campaign when you don't like the outcome? A decision was made, it was at their discretion to make, you don't know what went into the decision of the RD. Maybe they had a jerk off session and did nothing, maybe their attorneys strongly discouraged a DQ, maybe everyone on the board voted and came out to not DQ. You have a choice to keep arguing but at some point reasonable people will stop listening. You may be upset and 100% right but the right thing isn't always done. A decision of what was best for the VIA Marathon was made, if you don't like it then don't run it.

If you think there are thousands and thousands of runners that are upset with Mike Rossi and the decision not to DQ was made then won't the entries to the VIA Marathon suffer? Won't VIA suffer for their mistake and isn't that enough for you guys?

You are gonna need a car, credit, probably end up with a mortgage and a lot of stress too. Normally you want to be selective about the wife but for time you need to marry the first available option and then just grit it out. And you may have to root for the phillies and eagles. A tough tough life for the next few years. Get close to him but realize that you may become like him. I say do not do it. Not worth it.

How do we know you're actually Mike?

The via marathon will be fine. The via marathon will grow and get better every year. Hell, the cowtown marathon a few years ago had water delivered to the race but did not have cups. A fairly large marathon in texas that has been running for over 30 years FORGOT CUPS! That's a 100x worse offense than not DQ'ing a running but guess what, there were even more entries in the cowtown marathon the next year. Remember the dallas marathon thread of dallas being pussies for not running due to ice? That was a thread that lasted for weeks. Race is still doing fine.

He'll never do this. Rosie Ruiz never did nor will he. Rosie had eye witnesses to her cheating and still maintains she won. Now that LVM has exonerated Mike I'd say nothing short of his wife ratting him out and forcing him to tell the truth would he ever consider this. Not going to happen, he's not one to do the right thing. No guilt or cajoling will touch his fragile ego. He has no courage, no sense of what is truly right, only what makes him feel good. And we don't do that for him.

Yes, and you will fail because he believes the lie. He will never confess.

Because Mike Rossi is the only person on the planet who doesn't think he cheated. He's also the only person who think we should all just move along because there is nothing to see here. He wants this all to just go away.

But anybody who cares about the race, fairness or integrity are actually pretty cool with what's been happening and boycotting the race. Mike would lead you to believe that the only people who care are a bunch of anonymous crazies on an internet forum. But lots of people with names have posted on the marathon's FB page and they aren't happy as well.

And again, Mike will claim that it's only a few dozen people who are voicing their displeasure. But anybody who knows the internet knows that this is only a small fraction of the people who would take the time to post something, and an even smaller fraction of those who actually know he cheated.

What is compelling is that the percentage of people who are posting their disappointment is very close to 100%. And we suspect that the small percentage that are in favor of Rossi are either him or his "friends", or they themselves are crazy for not seeing the obvious.

But we have all been civil about this. Nobody is knocking on Rossi's door or prank calling his work like what happened to that principal he threw under the bus.

The guy does boast a 3:59 marathon PR as well as several top 20 age group triathlon finishes. What makes him think he is a tri guru?

There are several reasons:

1. He previously posted on Facebook (see prior link or SaraB's spreadsheet since she was the one who PDF'd his offer on Facebook's Doopey Run) an offer to share his MRI.

2. He reads this board religiously.

3. He called his attorney for a harmless quote from one of the most famous movies ever, Animal House, where his name and the RDs was subsituted for two of the characters using in connection with the word dead. That is how we know he monitors this site. It was not a threat, but a joke that went over his lying mind.

4. I do live in Abington. He lives a few doors down from a friend of mine. I wouldn't go there because he would call the cops.

5. I don't have a Facebook page.

No is debating the fact that he monitors this site. But what does that have to do with anything? I'm saying, if I were him (which I obviously am, or not, LOL), I wouldn't post anything here or share anything with us. But if someone reached out to him personally, maybe he would share. Then that person could report back here. Just a thought.

Indeed, a critical mass of Internet runner dweebs are still breathlessly scratching the concrete wall that has been placed between them and justice. If only they could just reach one more inch.... my sole would be theirs.

The desperately hope somebody will hear their cries, "injustice!" they yell... setting up websites, writing letters, posting diatribes... that only they will read.
