For each of you on this thread questioning the honesty of the honorable M. Rossi I want you to take a long, hard look in the mirror. While looking in this mirror I want you to reflect upon your life and ask yourself if you have ALWAYS been completely honest in your words, emotions and actions. I challenge any of you holier than thou posters to step forward claiming to ALWAYS be operating truthfully and honestly. Show me the man that has never exceeded the speed limit, the man that has never called in sick when healthy, the man that has told his wife she looks good in her new clothes when she looks like a beached whale, etc. We have all chosen at times to exaggerate or misrepresent the truth. What Mr. Rossi did regarding the marathon was a mistake but who hasn't made a mistake. I believe Mr. Rossi has atoned for this act of dishonesty through making the experience a teaching opportunity for his children, and for the leadership qualities he continues to exhibit. Mr Rossi is, by most accounts of those acquainted with him, a fine upstanding gentleman that has done nothing to elicit the scorn of this message board.
Peace, out.
Hi Mike!
