I have to admit that I am getting a kick out of watching Rossi and his "friends" come on here and try and guilt us into stopping. Maybe it's finally hit him that all this bad press is going to be detrimental to his business. Who knows - maybe he'll have an epiphany and just finally confess.

I doubt it. He still thinks he got away with something. But cheating at running is the same as cheating on your wife. Getting away with it doesn't make him a better person. It actually makes him less of a man.

Seems like a simple solution. Admittedly tough when your sunk costs are so high but things can only get better.

O have to admit that even I am feeling a little sorry for Mike. Not for what we are doing but just for his life in general.

Imagine a man who is getting old. Probably reached that age where he can't get it up anymore and satisfy his wife. Decides he needs to get into shape to increase his blood flow. He retroactively makes running the Boston Marathon his lifelong dream - at the ripe old age of 45. And after 18 months and a grueling 1000 miles he realizes that it will never happen. He is simply too old and out of shape to qualify.

But he's already promised his family he will take them and maybe even has the hotel booked already. His only shot of making his children proud of him is slipping away fast. The older he gets the harder it will be to get a BQ. So he has to cheat to impress his family. How sad is that?

Because overall he's got no other skills. DJing is barely a skill. You press play on the computer. How hard is that? He can't play an instrument. He can't paint or draw. He can't sing. No talents whatsoever.

Except the talent to scheme and plan. Let's face, he did pull this whole thing off. He cheated and got away with it. Then he ran the Boston Marathon and his children looked up to him with admiration, just like they do their school principal. He pulled off the running caper of the year.

But then he just couldn't keep his mouth shut. He was so proud of getting away with this that he just had to go viral and bask in the glow of people calling him "father of the year". And now the truth has come out that he is actually the most despicable humans on the planet.

His kids probably have been told by their friends at school what he did. But they don't dare mention it for fear of being punished. His wife probably won't look him in the eyes anymore and they haven't had sex since this whole thing started, and who knows how long that will last. They are probably even teetering on the verge of divorce at this point.

And poor Mike just can't bring himself to be humble and beg for forgiveness. Imagine what an empty shell of a man he has become. He has to live with this huge ego that won't allow him to do the right thing. Even for the good of his family. What a shame.

Yeah, maybe it is time to feel sorry for Mike.

Earlier in this thread, someone had the idea to download some of the pictures that were taken in the same spot at the marathon and put them in a slideshow. The idea was that it would create a video from the pictures.

I downloaded the first 400 pictures from the bridge. From my best estimate, this covers all runners up to finishing times in the early 3:30's.

Let me know what you think. It's not the best, but it is something to show people without having to pull up hundreds of pictures on their own.

This thread has divulged into a personal vendetta by three posters against Mike Rossi. One poster has already been banned and likely facing legal action for posting death threats against Rossi and the LVM race committee.

I'm sure legal action against the other two cyberbullies/banning is not far behind.

It is getting beyond ridiculous. At least it never got personal when we were researching Kip Litton.

What about the principal's job? Journalists turned up at the school, while she was doing her job.

His principal did receive death threats and hundreds of crank calls. MR posted her name publicly and thrived on his limelight of saying how right he was. He posted every link to his fame on his FB page, enjoying every minute of how right he was.

She didn't ask for publicity. He did by going on the TV and with his Twitter and FB posts. And, he defended what he did to her even once he knew what was happening to her.

It was a form letter and nearly everyone in the district has gotten it, including members of the school board. Their was no consequence to the letter other than saying that the absences will be considered unexcused because his kids weren't sick. Nearly everyone is our community hates what he did to his principal and our School Distict. So, yes, this is Karma.

Surprised that there is not a single comment about this yet on Marathonguide.com's page about LHVM. Hit that too!

Hi Mike.Am I the only one who can smell Mike burning through the end of his attorney's retainer? Supposedly a handful of people got letters a week or two ago but now, sounds kind of quiet.#CheatingDoucheNozzle

I tried a review on Marathonguide, they are moderated and most likely aren't going to allow the reviews… Of course, I haven't run it and I don't lie like Mike Rossi and claim to run a marathon I didn't, so I answered truthfully when it asks how many times I have run it...

Now as to the question, will this change the RD's mind? I don't think this race director (Barb McKeever) ever planned on an objective review but was hoping everything would just die down and they could release their "No DQ news release" at the end of the month and everything would be fine. They should have had access to the original pictures from the photo company, much higher resolution. As has been mentioned 100 times in this thread, we have a continuous stream of visual evidence that Mike Rossi was not on that marathon course, Barb McKeever just did not have the spine or was prevented from doing the right thing.

First, the poster that you incorrectly and ignorantly accused of posting a death threat did no such thing.  He posted a quote/speech of the late John Belushi from the movie Animal House, in response to someone saying "it's over".  In the movie, Belushi begins by saying, Over?  It's not over until we [LRC] say it's over.  Second, that individual never once made any statements toward Rossi that could be explicitly or implicitly viewed as a personal vendetta, or any statements towards any other individual that would be viewed by any reasonable person as personal attacks. Third, posters such as yourself, that is, those who just write without thinking or giving any consideration of the facts, which is commony referred to as diarrhea of the mouth, are becoming much too common here. By the way, that last comment may be viewed as a personal attack by some, but can it really be one if its just an observation of the obvious?,
