Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

For those who are saying it's over and to give it a rest, look at history and see how persistence has paid off.

How long did it take for gays to start getting the right to marry (in many states)? How long did it take to get marijuana legal in some states?

There are countless issues that I could mention where public pressure caused change for the better. Keep putting pressure on the marathon and it's sponsor. Maybe it will take a drop in attendance and donations for them to want to do the right thing. They need to see that allowing a cheater does greater damage than any press or lawsuit they would face by disqualifying Rossi.

Don't give up.

There's some guy posting on their FB page that there are "thousands" of people upset with the race over this.

Seems quite odd to me that Mikey has liked Runner Felices latest race post on his open Facebook page. This on the same day someone anonymous has questioned why Felice has been so quiet.

Odd timing or aggressive behavior? And please no accusations MR . I am not Runner. Sure looks aggressive to me.

Remember, this is the same guy who "liked" a pic of a 9 year-old girl, the daughter of one of his critics. He is way beyond a mere cheater. The guy is a psycho.

Yeah, that "some guy" is me, funny how on Facebook it actually displays a name! Yep, I'm not a coward hiding behind anonymity on a running board forum. Sure, I don't have proof like Lehigh Valley Marathon requires, but a little bit of logic and knowledge of how apathetic people are tells me that if this many unique individuals are posting their displeasure on LVM Facebook page, there are thousands more that feel the same way but won't actually take the time to post.

Get your facts straight - they twins are their children together and I think they just celebrated like 12 years married. I think he is a tool and totally cheated but don't say things that aren't true. It makes us look bad.

We already know Mike is lawyered up and now I'm sure well versed in slander/libel & defamation . Definitely a hobby jogger, he wears a GPS watch that he rarely turns on and carries a phone in a fanny pack that wasn't tracking him. A runner would provide proof that he ran a race rather than get an attorney.

Every time Mike, or a friend, post his "it's over, so just let it go" message there is probably some casual observer that actually does.

But for those who actually care the time is now to spread this message even further and wider. Post it all over your Facebook. Share it with any other runner you know. Share it with any school teacher or administrator who was offended by his attack of the school principal. Share it with any and everybody who is associated with the marathon or it's charity.

This goon first levied an attack on the integrity of the very people we trust to teach our children by claiming watching a marathon and eating Boston clam chowder is more beneficial than attending school.

Then he attacked the integrity of a race that donates it's proceeds to a very worthwhile charity.

This creep has thrown a lot of people under the bus in the past 30 days. This bus is about to get heavier with more passengers and it's pointed right at Mike Rossi. The decision not to DQ seems to be based on the marathon's possible financial blowback and not on any actual fact finding.

The time is now to make clear that we will not support a marathon with no integrity, but they still have time to gain that back. And if they do we will rally behind them and do our best to make future fund raising events a huge success. Because doing the right thing never goes unrewarded.
