Chelimo just ran a 5:05. Probably done and won't finish

How does Hall look?
She looks comfortable. Hasn't ever been more than a step or two out of the lead.
Sisson? struggling? is Hall still looking stiff??
Sara Hall is staying up front just behind whoever is leading, but she doesn't exactly look comfortable to me.

The puking guy has to be hung AF. Can speak from experience that's not fun.
I've never puked from running in my life! I dont get it.
Fauble said definitively that the race would be won in 2:08:10 or faster.
Maybe he was disgusted with the pace.

Another commercial break less than 3 minutes after the last. This is why the race could not be held @ 8:00 EST
This is a niche sport. People that are going to watch, will watch. Viewership difference at 10am vs 8am is negligible, if not zero.

Hey Malmo,
Was Fauble’s stomach churning?
Amateur Jobby Hogger
I'm not the one to ask. Ask him. I've never thrown up ... either before, during, or after a race ... or a workout.

Lindwurm and O'Keefe looking good.
Is Sisson struggling or is she just biding her time?
Was wondering that too. On the tracker she is one second back. Could be tucking in or struggling to stay in the pack. Anyone can confirm who can see the race?

Ryan? Very buff
Hall never looks comfortable

That might be true.
I was getting tired of this thread turning into complaints about the coverage instead of talking about the race but I can no longer ignore it. This commercial load just hit an unforgivable level

If the men hit the 2:08:10 standard they will owe Zach Panning a big thank you.
He has led since mile 6. Projected finish time is now 2:08:23 but if they keep this up they will go 2:07and change.
Mile1 5:00
Mile2 5:00
Mile3 4:56
Mile4 5:04
Mile5 5:06
Mile6 4:49
Mile7 4:49
Mile8 4:48
Mile9 4:47
Mile10 4:51
Mile11 4:49
Mile12 4:48
Thanks for the splits. You don't get much of this from the broadcast. But I am impressed with Kara's analysis.

10 guys at halfway in 64:07. Mekonen, Mantz, Rupp, Korir, Colley, Young, Kipchirchir, Kibet, Martin. Martin probaby the biggest surprise with Colley.
Then 4 seconds to CJ.
So give us your predictions how you think this plays out?
4:51 14th mile.
Young and Rupp are both good heat runners and it looks warm out there.
It is going to get ugly by mile 22. Pace will slow but expect the lead group to explode.
And during the football break, Luton Town went up 4:2 in Newcastle. They are staying up, baby!!
This panning guy is beast . 449 like a metronome . I hope he accepts Venmo as I don’t have my check book.
Is Natosha Rogers update?
