The world's course has over 1000 feet of climbing over 10K. This will be similar to running a 1500 to see who runs in a 10000.

False. Any guys who make the team will be equally prepared for any course they choose to race. Stop acting like a hilly course conforms to a special skill set that top pros don't train to prepare for. It's not a rocky, mountain course, for f*ck's sake. Get out of that jayvee mentality.
