Gratuitous. You may as well say talent and training. (I am not claiming he is clean, but it's funny to see you making that sort of claims. You got enraged when some people said Boston was fixed the year Keflezighi won, because we had no evidence in your opinion. What's your evidence here?)

I've had to change my views on doping - clearly the evidence is that in certain countries doping is accepted and part of the sport. And when a guy can go from no training to 3rd in the London marathon in 3-4 months, I don't believe it.
The Bekeles asked to join Salazar a few years ago, maybe after London 2012, and he was considering it but Rupp asked if the goal was to get a medal for the U.S. or to win one for Ethiopia so it went no further.

Our guy on the ground in Kenya told me exactly this. Canova really liked Bekele and was wishing him well but was worried the Achilles / calf thing was too much to over come.

Your obsession with Bekele is weird. On many topics you seem quite rational. You seem to reject all conspiracy theories out of hand. You tend to go with "innocent until proven guilty" . . . And then there's Bekele. Did he have an affair with your wife or something?

So there you have it: Core and Crossfit, and you can create a sub-2 hour marathon. I bet Rich Froning will be doing one (or several) in no time (and if you don't know who that is, God help us all.) This scientist should not be scouring East Africa for his potential 2 hour marathoner, but he should be scouring cross-fit gyms across America: ripped, shredded, and SUB 2 HOUR!
