Kai Wilmot you're my hero

3 sophomores among the top 10 returners. I like their odds. Most would have liked Kai's odds after going 8:57 as a soph too, so who knows.

Wish he was looking at smaller schools. I know Wisconsin is proven in cross country, but not much in the way of track speed kind of guys and I think Kai is one of those.

Kai is msot definitely a cross country runner, not a speed track type runner. Yes he has run some fast times, but it's because of the fact that he is an aerobic machine. John Dressel from Mt. Spokane is similar to Kai.

Tanner Anderson on the other hand would be more of the speed track kind of guy, as is Joe Hardy from Seattle Prep.

Watching these four race the past few years has been awesome! We are lucky here in Spokane and the state of Washington to have such amazing talent running in our state at the moment.

I look forward to watching Joe Hardy win Footlocker. And then it's time to wait for the 3200m at state... 8:40 to win the 3a title?

FL is a fvckin joke dude. That was 20/30 yrs ago. Anybody that can bring it is going to be at NXN. Forget the FL sh*t.

State could be so epic this year...

Hardy, Anderson, Wilmot, Dressel could all very reasonably be low 8:50's or in the 8:40's at state. And Foerder and Hauger sub-9. And that's just 3A! Of course, that would mean one of the Eastside guys hits the AQ time at the regional meet. I forget what it'll be this year, 9:03? 9:02? It'd be a shame if regional is tactical and they only run 9:05, as it would leave a potential sub-9 guy at home.

Nonetheless, Kai would've tagged Cheserek's azz the last 800.

I think that it is fair to say that at least the top 6 here at NXN could have done quite well at FLN with Kai being in the running of winning it if he had as good of a performance as he did this last weekend

Where is Wilmot, Dressel, and Hardy going to school next year?

Dressel will be going to Mt. Spokane High School next year I believe. He's only a junior.

Taylor is his first name, Kai his middle name, and Wilmot his last name.

He goes by his middle name, hence Kai.

Maton has beaten all these guys. Some of them multiple times now this season (Hardy, Armstrong, Dressel, Thomet). Sure nice of them all to either be not taking the race seriously or simply be out for a jog. [quote]jmoney swag dawg wrote:

Pretty sure he was injured again - he just ran his first track race of the year last week (9:50 for 3200m). That was enough to keep him alive for the GSL Championships this week.
