I really think the WMM should have one super wheelchair race a year. They don't need one at every major. There are so few wheelchair racers to begin with, it's a logistical nightmare to close the roads just for them and they already get way too much tv time given the interest.

Why is it stupid? You still pay otu the same in prize money. And that way they only do one marathon a season - not 8 like the do now.
But if you doh't like that, what about cancelling it all together? That would be my true preference or simply not showing it on tv
