Remember that Des Linden won Boston in 2018.

She's not a broadcaster by trade because she was..hello..an athlete..as was Josh.

If you want to know the deeper truth....nobody has given Des the credit she deserves even after her performance years ago when she placed just behind Keitany, as I recall.

But Des Linden is the female Pre...and the fact is that as much as you all worship Steve Prefontaine, you should see Des the same way...

What are you saying? Did I miss the Hispanic/Latina racist over-tone or comment somewhere? And did you REALLY compare Des Linden to Steve Prefontaine? Maybe you should educate yourself about Pre, and his contribution to the sport of running. There's more to Pre's story than just how fast he ran. Those who currently are familiar with the sport of running fully realize how talented Des is, we don't need you to remind us. Know your history before making unintelligent comparisons.

When any race has rain or negative weather everyone says it is a good day for Des.

That is it. Period. Des will always be thought as a one trick pony. A very good racer that needed a freak day to win. Every time she tries to move out of that lane she fails. Race commentating is just another example.

In a perfect world, the play-by-play guy should have to cut off the color commentator. Paul Swangard had to pull comments out of her. Dez just does not have the personality for the role.
