Btw just to keep his magical marathon run in perspective that girl is now 10 and is also a runner. Her 5k PR is faster than his. Maybe he was just jealous.

Race directors live and die by timetables and deadlines. If she doesn't respond by the end of the month it shows to me a lack of importance for her on this issue. Sadly enough it is the same lack of care that was shown by this race in not having timing mats along the course. That would seem to indicate that , on their part , being able to advertise a high percentage of qualifiers is more important than having a clean race.

Everyone agreed and for the most part did leave the kids out of this. I agree with that 100% and would never cross that line. I guess that rule only applies to MR's kids tho?

This started by me answering a post from a troll praising his integrity. I don't think attacking his wife is cool at all but it's not the same as involving a young girl. He still has no integrity.

More people should post there. Keep the pressure on. Post to VIA when they answer a question on a different subject. Make them responsible for allowing this cheater to continue to make a sham of their race and a BQ. The squeaky wheel will have to be heard.

Maybe I'm not understanding what happened, but this seems like a threatening gesture -- I know if I posted an uncomplimentary comment about someone who then 'liked' my daughter's photo, it would scare the crap out of me.
