CJ is moving at a better pace than most of the lead group at this point. I'm submitting an early prediction that he rolls people up the last 6 miles, finishes top 5, and snags the third Olympic spot for the US men.

Des Linden joined the lead pack as the women are not pushing at all. She's now fallen back as they are on 2:25:17 pace at 25k with 19 women in the leadpack and Des in 20th

Lemma just ran 5:08 for mile 20 and doesn't look like he's moving fast. Confirmed. 5:27 for mile 21. Now he had a 2:49 lead at mile 20.

But he has to keep it going at sub 5:30 pace or he could get caught.

I tune in to watch runining.

I can't stand the ESPN2 coverage. Running is the only sport where production is designed to cut away from the elite races as much as possible. No other sport broadcasts like this. Why do we let it happen in running? & I know it's a lot of time to watch people run but cycling/triathlon have longer events that keep cameras on the athletes the entire time
