Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

I forgot this is a holiday weekend. Mikey usually only gets air time filling in for the real talent when they are off enjoying their holidays or vacations. I wonder if he will be taking calls?

I'm too lazy to do it, but it might be effective if someone were to write up a dummy email for the Via and Boston race directors and supply the email addresses, so we can ship them out.

While your intention is good, it doesn't matter what you (we) want but rather what the evidence clearly shows or in some instances, does not show. If one was to go down this route, then the template/form letter should say that I believe, based on the overwhelming evidence that Mr. Rossi should be DQd. Specifically, and then begin by listing out the evidence to support a DQ. Keep it on point. Someone earlier mentioned Mr. Rossi's letter fiasco as support, which is immaterial in regards to whether he should be DQd or not.

yeah I know. that happens sometimes. but youre missing the point. in this particular race literally every single other person has photos on the course. all of them. 100%.

also there were a high pictures taken during the points when a 3:11 marathoner would pass the photographer. we're talking pictures showing over 100m of course taken every couple seconds. it takes usain bolt 10 seconds to cover 100m. it takes an elite marathoner ~18 seconds. it takes a 3:11 marathoner nearly 30 seconds to cover 100 meters. he could not have passed the photographer without at least being in the background of multiple pictures. he is in none. he's just not there

we're not sure if he was in his car, at starbucks, waiting at a relay exchange. but it doesn't matter where he was. it matters where he was not. and he was assuredly not on the via marathon course

Can someone answer the following.

1) Has Mike been DQd?

2) Has any media outlet written that Mike Rossi IS A CHEAT. These articles asking if he's a cheat are annoying me? If they haven't written it, I probably will bang out the article tomorrow.

3) Can anyone tell me if there has been any new evidence uncovered since page 120. So in the last 10 days, what the hell have you all been talking about?

1) Nope. The Via RD said they are expecting a resolution by the end of the month.

2) No media outlet came out and stated MR cheated, they simply stated that his BQ performance is under scrutiny and MR denies any and all allegations.

3) I don't think there was more evidence uncovered people started looking at other marathoners and other performances that looked questionable, but that's about it.

Anyway, how do we know he ran with a cell phone? Did he admit to that? I mean if you run with a cell phone - then there should be location history. I'll put that as an aside into the article.

Google just told me where I was every minute of September 7, 2014. Apparently, I was in NY at the US open tennis.

If you look at some of the places the photos were set up and the angle they were shooting you'd see that it would be impossible for him to not be in any photos. He's not even in the background of other racers or within a bunch of racers. The ONLY way to miss every photog would be to be the unluckiest person on the planet and run past each one at the exact time they went to the bathroom.

The lack of photos cannot be proof positive, so then the burden of proof falls on Mike. Where are his photos and GPS data?

1. Lately he's been posting as "Doubler" and a few other names.

You should be able to investigate the email address(es) used and IP address(es).

2. He's set up his own blog to accuse others of cheating (he continually promotes it on Let's Run message boards).

3. He still has a public "Mike Rossi" channel on You Tube - there are several running-related videos there as well as family and work stuff

Good lord, I am not Mike. Why the hell if I were Mike would I post on here stating that Mike is completely guilty, and what would be the motivation in creating the blog? I've shown that I;ve had the doubler name since at least 2012--before Mike ever ran anything.

Rojo, if you see this--I created the blog because another post on an alleged cheater was deleted after someone posted in Wejo's thread about needing a policy on cheaters complaining about that thread. So I created the blog so we could gather data and have it there where we know it won't get poofed.

Rojo, please close this dead thread down, every time Mike gets off the computer after reading it I get an almighty kick in the guts and I'm sick of it.

Also, he's cheating on my morning walks (so you can put that in your article), they're getting shorter and shorter, FMD, we'll be doing them to his favorite caramel macciato Starbucks in the car soon.
