@ 8 miles, first two men, Schrader and Nestor are 24 seconds up and ran 5:07
Chase pack gained about 4 seconds from the Mile7 split. The two leaders don’t look too bad right now
They'll be destroyed

shows 38 sec lead for Shrader and Nestor right now. That's decent.
The dude in 2nd, Dan Nestor, has "rabbit" listed as his affiliation.
Does anyone know anything about this?
I take that back - they gained 15 seconds - are are now up 39 seconds....... this tracking app is weird.
Lol did they test their remote mics at all before the broadcast?

The rest dont know it yet but this race is over. Jimbo will warm up for 20 miles and win by 4 mins.
Ritz leading the peloton.
Shrader is a 2:13 guy (Chicago)
From Boston, former steepler
Why can’t they split screen during commercials?
And on the women’s side - the commentators mentioned that 16 year old Tierney Wolfgram is in the pack.....and at the next mile, mile 5, she’s now 4 seconds off the lead pack....

Guys, this feed seems to be better (showing helicopter coverage during commercial breaks), at least from what I can tell so far:
https://www.olympicchannel.com/en/live/event/2020-us-olympics-team-trials-marathon-atlanta/video/detail/u-s-olympic-team-trials-marathon-atlanta-ga/I couldn't get that to work in US.
That's weird, I have VPN but don't have it connected (I did when I was trying earlier). Someone else posted a link that may work.
At least the main coverage has improved.
Such a weak men's field, kind of makes it interesting

Maybe sarcasm but:
https://www.runinrabbit.com/They sell overpriced running apparel. Kind of like Oiselle but also makes men’s clothes.
Threw down a half marathon of 62 adjusting for it being short. Also took his last 2 weeks off according to his Strava legs feel fresh.
Ritz is in second!!!

No clue. They have the technology and it’s always bothered me that they don’t use it for running, but use it for showing football teams in the huddle during timeouts when nothing is happening
Wow - Schrader with the 4:51 mile and now the lead is 47 seconds.
Looks like Shrader actually has decent shoes for the course.
