So more out of competition testing has nothing to do with it.

It wasn't everyone at Racers that got busted. 3 young sprinters who used a popular supplement containing a substance that was similar in structure to a banned stimulant received a 3 month suspension. So the supplement didn't contain a banned stimulant (methylexamine) but something similar in structure to it. Many felt that under the circumstances a warning would have been sufficient and the 3 month suspension was unwarranted.

It's funny to me how with some track people even when someone gets busted they still don't believe it. So you really believe that Tyson Gay,Justin Gatlin and Asafa Powell all got busted and bolt and Blake who ran faster than all of them are clean. Or are we still believing that bolt is running fast because he's tall.

Or maybe people aren't running fast because there aren't any championships this year...unless you count commonwealth games or relays

Vicaut is clean, trying hard, runs fast, gets injured, has to take a bunch of time to get back on track. Because he's clean, don't expect him to do anything else significant this year, unless his injury was minor. 9.95 with a bunch of wind is as good as it gets.

As far as Gatlin goes, of course he's still dirty. Nobody--NOBODY--puts up those numbers consistently, without blowing up. And Gay's still jacked, still feeling good from all those chemicals he pumped himself full of last year. Based on how hard he trains and how well he has incorporated the benefit, I expect him to stay in the 9.9's forever, he is a new man because of the dope. Just like Gatlin, but Gatlin started off better than Gay did, and he's now forever a 9.8 guy.

Blake is the clear #2 at 19.26 and 9.69, only just a shade behind Bolt.

You can't conclude anything about Blake from one race returning from injury in a non-championship race.

But Jamaica in general looks bad after the doping catches last year, although Hansle Parchment looked very, very strong in 12.94 110mHH today, and from what I saw it looked like there is more to come from him.
