I also think Bol needs to stop this incremental improvement and has to breakthrough with a big one. It can only happen in a major however, these DL meets are no competition.

It's pretty normal for dec/heptathletes to participate in single events so they can improve their technique/PBs. There are relatively few dec/heptathlons throughout the season so it's their best opportunity to compete.

Exactly, if she was training she would run the short hurdles or maybe pace an 800, or run a 200.

It may be the narrative here but that doesn’t mean that Hall shouldn’t compete. You seem to think that she should pay attention to the “narrative.” Hall doesn’t care what the narrative is and she sure as hell doesn’t care what your thoughts are.

BS, you're one of the guys who thinks she can actually be a force in the event and now you need to make an excuse. If she wants to compete it should be in an event that is actually in a multi. I've never seen a multi athlete run the IM unless they thought it was their event. In fact I can't think of any multi who ever ran the IM in a DL meet.
