We spoke to a confident Noah Lyles today.
He was very bullish about his attempt to pull off the 100m, 200m double this year.
When asked which he would rather do win 100m gold, or get the 200m world record, he said 100m gold. He said the plan is to put the 200m record where no one else will touch it (sub 19).
Then he casually threw in when asked about his dad's event the 400, that he felt with training he could break the world record.
So what do you think is more likely for Noah.
100m gold, sub 19 200, or 400m WR?
For whatever reason I think the 200m WR might be easier than the 100m gold but I sub 19 is a different beast.
So I'll go 1) 100m Gold easiest. 2) Sub 19 200m 2nd easier 3) 400m WR.
