I recently got a pair of leather "hybrid" shoes, part sneaker part dress shoe. It fit nicely but when I take the first step the leather upper digs in the top of where my toes join my foot (the crease). It's a discomfort but seems to go away when I start walking. I have not worn the shoes outside so I can return them still. However, I like them and I haven't been able to find anything that can substitute what I need (good non-athletic looks but comfort) Will the leather soft up and this issue go away? I just don't want to keep them and get sore feet. Take the risk or not?
