Had my yearly physical on Monday where they did blood work (first time having a full blood panel before). Results came in today: Hemoglobin was 17.8, Hemocrit was 52.6.
According to the results, the Hemoglobin level was higher than normal and the Hemocrit was at the top end of the normal range.
Me: 29/Male, long time distance runner, recently turned triathlete. Have lived in Denver for almost 3 years now.
Is this something I should go back to my doctor and ask about or are these slightly elevated levels still within the "healthy" range?
