So I just ran a 16:30 5k on the treadmill today and I was wondering if it was possible for me to go sub 16 by mid May. I have a pr of 16:01 from 4 years ago when I was 18 and recently I've gotten more motivated to break 16 before I graduate and get a real job. I broke my ankle in September so I was out from late September to the beginning of January. In January I ran about 20 mpw at around 6:40 on the treadmill. In February I ran 40 mpw at around 6:30 for the first three weeks until last week where I got lazy and caught up with midterm exams and took 4 days off so I only hit 20. I'm definitely planning on upping the milage and starting to do workouts, I was just wondering if it was possible or if my time line is too short like all my friends say
